Hm, thanks for proving my opening statement:

Talking politics is a guaranteed argument no matter what.

Everyone has their candidate and clearly your choice is Obama. I can say that McCain is not my first choice. Like many other Americans, I voted earlier this year and my vote was wasted because of our screwed up system of using delegates. The American people voted for their choice and the Democratic party decided to go with another candidate. It's not that I don't like Obama. In fact, I do and wished that he had waited to enter the political race years from now but he didn't.

So, I will make the best of the choices presented to me. Fortunately, having Sarah Palin on the ticket makes it all the better. Either way, come November, one of us will have our candidate in the the White House and the other will be waiting four more years for another chance of having their vote count.

Let's see... you like that she admits to her family having up and downs? Yeah, Obama has said that, too. You like that she respects the troops? Yeah, Obama has said that, too. You like that she gives credit to her parents? Yep, Obama has said that (wrote about it in his book, even), too.

As too Rudy's hate-filled speech, and your comment about asking Palin those kinds of questions... You must have been really upset at all the unfair questions they asked Hillary when she was running, too.

Somehow I doubt it.
